Heart rate zone calculator
Lots of runners run using pace as their metric when thinking about how fast to run each run - others might not think about it at all. They just run. One question I get asked is "how do I breathe more easily"? The answer is to think about how hard you're making your heart work given the how fast you're running based on age, experience, fitness etc. And so we should consider our heart rate when running. It's important to remember that for new runners, you'll likely run at a slower pace to keep you in HR zone 2 compared to someone running for 20 years. Likewise an older runner will find their in HR zone 5 at 170 where as for a young runner, it might be 200. There's lots of components to how we use heart rate - feel free to ask me questions.

Oh and here's a link taking you to a heart rate zone calculator. I'd advise using heart rate reserve, using both max heart rate and resting heart rate as it's a more accurate way of determining your training zones.
